GENERAL INFORMATION
a. The application and website are owned by the Amikeco LLC (hereinafter referred to as the
Association), headquartered in Drumul Gura Caliței, No. 4-32, Sector 3, Bucharest.
b. The ASSOCIATION may change the content of the application and the website at any time,
may make structural, content, and accessibility changes, and may cease providing information
on the website without prior agreement and without any notification to users or third
parties.
c. The ASSOCIATION may change, suspend, or discontinue the application or website at any
time without prior notice. It may also limit access to the application or website or certain
parts of it. Additionally, the ASSOCIATION may limit access to certain facilities/frames
within the application/website, impose access limitations on certain IP addresses without
notification, and without any liability.
2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
a. All rights are reserved by the International Friendship Association. All published
materials (including, but not limited to, articles, information, photos, data, audio/video
clips—collectively referred to as content) are protected by applicable legal provisions: Law
No. 8/1996, with subsequent amendments and additions—regarding copyright and related rights,
Law No. 84/1998—regarding trademarks and geographical indications, and Law No. 129/1992,
republished—regarding industrial designs and models. The absence of a reference to certain
legal texts or applicable provisions does not invalidate them.
b. The Application, Website, and Content are protected by Romanian copyright law as well as
copyright provisions applicable in territories outside Romania. You may not copy, store,
modify, or transfer, in whole or in part, the application/website or its content. Usage is
allowed, provided it is non-commercial and within the terms set by the Association.
c. Any form of copying, storing, modifying, and/or transmitting the content is strictly
prohibited without the prior written consent of the Association.
d. The ASSOCIATION is not liable for any damages, disputes arising or stemming from copying,
storing, modifying, or transferring all or part of the content in any medium.
e. If you believe that any material published on this website infringes on copyright or
other rights, please notify us through a message sent to one of the addresses listed in the
Contact section of the application or website.
f. Copying, reproducing, recompiling, decompiling, distributing, publishing, displaying,
modifying, creating complete derivative products or services, or any other form of
exploiting the content of the application/website is prohibited, except for displaying on a
computer screen and printing or downloading, for personal and non-commercial purposes,
certain documents or information explicitly designated for this purpose, provided all
elements referring to intellectual property rights, other property rights, and the terms of
use are preserved without modification.
g. The ASSOCIATION may offer the User, through an agreement, the right to use a specific
content of the application/website in a described form. This agreement applies strictly to
the defined content(s), for a defined period, and only to the person(s) granted access,
without being able to use other content from the application/website. The ASSOCIATION is not
responsible for and cannot be blamed for damages resulting from the use of the content of
the application/website.
3. RESPONSIBILITIES
a. You are solely responsible to both third parties and the ASSOCIATION for
accessing/using/exploiting the content of the application/website.
b. By accepting the Terms and Conditions presented on this page, you agree that you are at
least of legal age according to Romanian law and consent to the use of our
application/website by your minors.
c. We reserve the right to refuse to provide services to anyone for any reason at any time.
4. LEGAL LIABILITY, INDEMNIFICATIONS
a. The ASSOCIATION is not liable for errors, inaccuracies, or delays in providing the
content offered by the application/website, nor for any action taken based on this content.
b. Each user of the application/website agrees to indemnify the AMIKECO application,
www.amikeco.ro, and the ASSOCIATION from any judicial or extrajudicial actions upon request
by the ASSOCIATION and to cover legal fees and any other costs that might arise due to the
user's violation of the terms in this document.
Individuals or legal entities responsible for violating the provisions in this document will
bear the consequences according to the laws in force in Romania.
c. The ASSOCIATION reserves the right to change and update these terms at any time. The
changes become effective from the moment they are published in the application or on the
website.
5. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
a. The ASSOCIATION does not guarantee that the application or website, the servers hosting
it, or the emails sent by the ASSOCIATION are free of viruses or other potentially harmful
computer components, nor does it guarantee that there are no errors, omissions,
malfunctions, delays, or interruptions in operation or transmission, line drops, or any
similar factors. Users use the application/website at their own risk, and the ASSOCIATION is
not liable for any direct or indirect damages caused by the use or access/visitation of the
application/website or as a result of using the information on the website.
b. The ASSOCIATION is not responsible for any errors or omissions that may occur in the
editing or presentation of materials on the website.
c. The information included in the application or on the website is for informational
purposes and is provided in good faith. If any of the published articles or any other
information falls under the provisions of the Copyright Law and related rights, the User is
asked to bring this to the attention of the ASSOCIATION by email at contact@amikeco.ro, so
the necessary legal measures can be taken.
d. Additionally, the ASSOCIATION is not responsible for and will not be held liable for the
operation of the application/website, its information, or its content.
6. PERSONAL INFORMATION
You are not allowed to use a fake email address, pretend to be someone you are not, or mislead the ASSOCIATION or third-party websites that are under the ASSOCIATION's umbrella regarding the origin of any information sent to us.
7. ERRORS, INACCURACIES, AND OTHER OMISSIONS
Occasionally, the information provided by the application or website may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. We reserve the right to correct these errors, inaccuracies, and omissions, as well as to change or update this information.
PROHIBITED USES OF THE APPLICATION / WEBSITE
a. In addition to the prohibitions already mentioned in the Terms and Conditions, you are not authorized to use our application/website or its content for the following:
- Any unlawful activity;
- To solicit others to commit or participate in unlawful activities;
- To violate international, local laws, general laws, or other local ordinances;
- To infringe or disrespect our intellectual property rights or those of others;
- To publish false information or intentionally mislead others;
- To collect or monitor personal information of others;
- To engage in any form of cybercrime using various methods prohibited internationally;
- For any obscene or immoral purpose;
- To attack the security systems of the application or partner websites under the umbrella of the International Friendship Association.
9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION. APPLICABLE LAW
a. The contract will be governed and interpreted in accordance with Romanian law. Any
arising conflict will be resolved amicably. If this is not possible, the first avenue of
resolution is mediation, in accordance with the law. If mediation fails, it will proceed to
competent Romanian courts based on the location of the International Friendship
Association's headquarters.
b. Any unauthorized attempt to access the application/website and any attempt at fraud will
be reported to the competent authorities. Any conflict between users and the ASSOCIATION
will be resolved amicably through understanding between the two parties.
c. If this is not possible, the applicable Romanian legal provisions will apply, and
conflict resolution will be under the jurisdiction of Romanian courts.
MODIFICATION OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
a. You can read the latest version of the Terms and Conditions at any time on this page.
b. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to update, change, or replace any part of these
Terms and Conditions by posting updates and/or changes on the available communication
channels. It is your responsibility to periodically check the application/website for any
changes in policy. Continuing to use the application/website after the publication of
updates and/or changes to the Terms and Conditions constitutes your acceptance of these
changes.
FINAL PROVISIONS
If any of the clauses above are found to be void or invalid, this will not affect the validity of the other clauses.
