We, the International Friendship Association, located at Drumul Gura Caliței, No. 4-32, Sector 3, Bucharest, are the owners of the Amikeco application and the websites www.amikeco.ro and web.amikeco.ro.

2. When You Interact With Our Content on Social Media or Share Information Through Amikeco

Whenever you interact with us through our social media accounts (e.g., comments, likes, shares, reviews, etc.), we will have access to the publicly available information on your profiles.

Amikeco and social media platforms (as joint controllers) are responsible for processing active display data (e.g., cookie IDs) when an Amikeco user interacts with social networks through embedded buttons and widgets.

4. Facilitating Easy and Pleasant Navigation When Accessing the Amikeco Website or Application

Amikeco takes great care to protect your data and applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data processing, corresponding to the risks and categories of protected data. It particularly protects data against unauthorized sharing, access by unauthorized persons, unlawful processing, and against alteration, loss, damage, or destruction of the data.

However, remember that, unfortunately, no data transmission is 100% secure.

Important: After the data retention period expires, your data will be deleted. If we believe that this data could help us improve product or service quality, we will continue to use this data only after irreversible anonymization.

Processing of Minor's Data

Amikeco is not intended for and does not knowingly collect information from minors under 18 years of age through its websites or application. Accessing and using them by minors represents implicit consent by the legal guardian in the minor's browsing under their care. Additionally, if we discover that a minor has used Amikeco without the legal representative's approval, we will delete all personal data about them.

International Transfers of Personal Data

Amikeco does not intend to share personal data with partners operating outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"), except for social media platforms or search engines (Facebook, Google), which, although they have headquarters in the EU, store information in data centers in the USA. We will take all necessary measures to ensure that these transfers occur according to the applicable data protection regulations.

If, in pursuit of our business interests or to offer a better user experience by integrating new features, we need to transfer data outside the European Economic Area, we will notify you and update this policy accordingly.

    • You dispute the accuracy of the personal data for the period required for us to verify its accuracy.
    • The processing is unlawful, and you request restricting processing rather than deleting the personal data.
    • We no longer need your personal data, but you need it for establishing, exercising, or defending a right.
    • You object to the further processing of personal data (see the right to object below);
  • Access to Your Data: You can request information about the personal data we hold about you, including information on which categories of data, what they are used for, where we collected them from if not directly from you, and to whom they have been disclosed, if applicable. You can obtain a free copy containing the personal data we hold about you. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for abusive requests.

Important Things to Remember!

Time Frame: We will attempt to resolve your request within 30 days. However, the time frame may be extended due to specific legal reasons or the complexity of the request.

Restriction on Access: In some situations, we might not be able to grant you access to all or part of the personal data due to legal restrictions. If we deny your access request, we will communicate the reason for refusal.

Inability to Identify: In some cases, we might not be able to identify the personal data due to a lack of identification elements provided in the request you send us. If you do not provide additional information that allows us to identify you, we will not be able to comply with your request to exercise the legal rights described in this section.
